The Lambert Chapman Maldon office is proudly supporting this year’s *world famous* Maldon Mud Race which is taking place on Sunday 2nd June at Promenade Park.

The charity event is sold out and 300 fundraising competitors will sludge through the River Blackwater to the other side of the river at Heybridge and back again.  The event attracts celebrities, big crowds and press from all over the world and last year the event raised more than £35,000 for charity.

This year, the money will be shared between Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, Daniel Wilkinson Foundation, David Randall Foundation, The Cinnamon Trust, Maldon & District Sea Cadets, Farleigh Hospice, BASICS Essex and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Maldon Promenade Park will be open to spectators from 10am and the park will be packed with DJs, entertainment, stalls and food, plus giant TV screens to watch all the action. The event is free to attend.

Lucy Orrow and Katie Gardner will be attending for Lambert Chapman LLP – do come and find us if you can as we will be hosting a free potting table using some of that famous Maldon Mud to plant some giant sunflower seeds.

Celebrating 50 years of the Maldon Mud Race

In addition to the race on Sunday – Partners Lucy Orrow and Craig Weavers will be hosting a table of guests at a corporate celebration dinner on the Friday evening, where they will be joined by double Gold rowing Olympian James Cracknell OBE who is running the race for the Army Benevolent Fund charity.

It is also hoped that paralympian Danny Crates will be in attendance as he is starting runners off on race day.

We wish all participants the best of luck.
