On 12th June 2019, Lambert Chapman LLP entered a team into the Race4Business event, a 3.5 mile run through Chelmsford, which was organised by Birketts to raise funds for the charity Little Havens.

Twelve members of staff entered the run, a number of them hoping to improve on their time posted last year.

First home for Lambert Chapman was Andy Owen in a time of 20:35, closely followed by Ross Cook (21:37) and Josh Pachent (23:44) – full results below:

Name Time
Andy Owen 20:35
Ross Cook 21:37
Josh Pachent 23:44
Richard Hamilton 28:53
Nick Forsyth 29:04
Graham McNeill 29:33
Matt Gagie 29:41
Mickala Kemp 29:58
Sean Wiegand 32:26
Ryan Pearson 32:40
Sarah Hamilton 36:48
Georgia Renker 39:30

Everyone who took part in the race taking part in the race last year improved on their time this year and, as a reward for the training everyone put in, the majority of people had a well-earned Chinese meal at Songs Buffet afterwards.

This was the last Race4Business that Birketts will be involved with although we are pleased that Havens Hospices will continue to organise the event going forwards.
