On 18 March 2019, Lambert Chapman LLP entered a team into the SES Charity Quiz which was held at the Mount Avenue Banqueting Suite, Brentwood.

Team members for the night were: Paul Short, Mike Carabine, Richard Hamilton, Lee Sutton, Grant Cook and Alan Chamberlain.

There were ten rounds of questions including General Knowledge, Entertainment, Famous Firsts and Technology.

There was a round on Management & Business that the team struggled with but it seems that we were not the only ones to do so.

The night ended with a Marathon Round consisting of twenty pictures of famous people to be identified and the team did well, scoring 19 points out of a possible 20.

At the end of the evening, the team were delighted to finish in first place and retain the Michael Lambert Cup for another year.

Our thanks go to Claire Eve and David Belbin for organising the quiz and we look forward to taking part next year.
