Welcome to the Lambert Chapman Fantasy Football Homepage.
Last year's competition proved to be very successful and was enjoyed by a number of clients, contacts and staff. For this reason, we are keeping the same league format, with monthly promotions and relegations, a prize for the Manager of the Month from August 2009 to May 2010 and a trophy for the winning team at the season end.
If you are a newcomer, don't panic - the rules are quite simple. You may pick a team of eleven players with either a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 formation from the List of Players within this article.
This means having either: 4 defenders, 4 midfielders and 2 strikers, or
4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers.
Don't worry that this does not add up to eleven, you need to include a goalkeeper as well!
Providing you select a maximum of two players from any one team and have not spent more than £50m in total, your team will be entered into the competition.
Also, do not worry that you may miss a big-name transfer or whether a player that you select will get injured - we are allowing you the chance to enter a team now but make unlimited transfers until 14th August, the day before the season starts. From that point on, transfers can only be made at specific times throughout the season (keep an eye on the weekly e-mails for further notice of these).
We have asked Tricky, our Fantasy Football man, for his opinion on how the season will go in case this provides some food for thought. See Trick's Picks, below.

TRICK'S PICKS
Winners - Manchester United
Champions League Qualifiers - Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton
Relegated - Burnley, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hull City
Top Scorer - Emmanuel Adebayor
Bargain Buys - Chris Eagles (Burnley), Michael Turner (Hull City), Michael Owen (Manchester United)
Shocks/Major Incidents - Arsenal dropping out of the top four, Burnley doing a "Hull City" at the start of the season but then fading away as expected.
Important tips - Have three or four strong players, mainly in midfield or attack, as these players tend to score most points. Build your team around these players with less costly players but steady, consistent performers.
TRANSFER WINDOWS
Transfer windows will be opening when there is a break for England international matches. The transfer windows will be announced as part of the weekly e-mail.
The transfer window is now open and will close on Friday 12 February 2010 at 5pm. Transfers can be emailed in before then, but all transfers will take effect from Saturday 13 February 2010.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
This week's Team of the Week is Woodie's Wanderers, managed by Paul Wood, with 113 points. His main point scorers were Terry, Baines and Agbonlahor.
Also doing well were Buggy's Handelsbanken Boys and The Big 127, managed by Ray Bugg and Martyn Grant, scoring 104 and 98 points respectively. Their teams include the likes of Agbonlahor, Baines, Carragher and Robert Green.
