You provide us with your invoices, cheque books, paying in books, bank statements and receipts and we process them into Sage. This assists us to produce your VAT return from your source records. Alternatively, we can produce VAT returns from your records if you do the bookkeeping and only want us to assist in this area.
As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Essex Lambert Chapman LLP are used to supporting its clients needs and Bookkeeping is certainly one of them.
When you start up in business making sure that enough leads exist to find enough work to make the business viable. Therefore spending time on bookkeeping might not be top of your priority list or your major skills set. We have a range of bookkeeping clients who bring in records to us on a monthly or quarterly basis to have records prepared.
As part of this process we can also produce a basic set of Management Accounts to show you how you are performing.
The majority of bookkeeping that we do is on Sage but we do use other software if you already have it or it suits your particular industry. The benefits of this are that if you start to employ an administrator in house you can buy the product and have all the data up to date. We can also produce aged debtors and creditors for you to monitor customer and supplier payments. It also helps us to prepare your Value Added Tax return if necessary.
We are also available to help out with short term assignments covering sick and maternity leave or the training requirements of a new bookkeeper. As part of our new client process we try to review records at the time of appointment so that if there are problems or quick fixes that can give you more value from your monthly reporting pack.
We operate throughout Essex and are happy to work at your premises.
