We have all heard the old saying “time is money” which rings true in many situations including the business world. With that in mind I ask the question: how good is your bookkeeping system and how can we help to reduce your fees?

Bookkeeping is one of the most important procedures a business must carry out. The bookkeeping entries form the basis for financial statements, management decisions and taxation calculations. The quality of bookkeeping is, therefore, a very significant factor when determining the time and costs involved when we prepare your financial statements. With a good basis to start from we are able to finish your accounts more efficiently and therefore reduce your fees.

As we prepare accounts for a number of sequential years for clients we build up a good working knowledge of our client’s accounting records and any particular weak areas. We do endeavour to draw these areas to the attention of our clients but there may be other areas that you struggle with.
