Stephen Jones' budget comments

The budget was fairly uninspiring with substantially no new tax measures. The main focus seemed to be on the governments spending plans and the corresponding level of borrowing that appears to be increasing.
Small businesses have not faired too badly this time round, however after the changes in previous budgets in respect of increasing corporation tax rates and the loss of the £10,000 nil rate band it could hardly get any worse.
It is obviously going to be an interesting year ahead for the economy and businesses alike.
