Lambert Chapman LLP win Hays Charity Quiz

Lambert Chapman LLP entered a team into a Charity Quiz that was run by Hays on 23 November 2009.  The quiz was being held in order to raise funds for Action for Children and was held at the Riverside Inn, Chelmsford with eleven teams took part.

There was a marathon round, given out at the start of the Quiz, which consisted of a number of anagrams of famous films and pictures from Christmas movies. 

Other rounds in the Quiz included Food & Drink, Intro’s, History, Literature and TV.

Our team was leading after five rounds but scored a miserable 3 points on General Knowledge. The lead was very slim and, having played the Joker on Sport (round 4), the team realised that there was a good chance of being caught once other teams played theirs.

However, good scoring in the final few rounds meant that Lambert Chapman LLP (under their pseudonym ‘Don Pablo’s Animals’) won the quiz and were awarded with some bottles of wine and a gift voucher for Strada restaurant.

Following the Quiz, there was a raffle (the teams brought along raffle prizes on the night) and our team was very lucky in taking away some goodies from that too.
