Lambert Chapman LLP finish joint second in South Essex ICAEW Music Quiz
As holders of the South Essex Music Quiz Cup we were keen to retain it and sent a strong team to Hutton but it wasn't to be. After a topsy turvy evening we finished joint second with four other teams four points behind the winners, a team from our fellow UK200Group members Taylor Viney Marlow.
Our team, Richard Hamilton, Lee Sutton, Mike Carabine, Nick Forsyth and Chris Harman scored really well on the Quickfire Halloween, At the Movies, Rock Bands and Sounds of the 90's rounds. Reasonably well on the When they were Young marathon picture round, on One Hit Wonders and thanks to Chris Things on TV but let things slip in the Beat The Intro round.
As usual the quiz was well organised by Linda Howard at the South Essex office and well run by Peter Turner our quizmaster and we thank them for their efforts. The full scores were as follows:
