Fantasy Football Competition winner announced
The Lambert Chapman LLP Fantasy Football Competition drew to a close following the Champions League and FA Cup Finals and the overall winner was announced.
Gary Luckman, Manager of Shrimper 'B' amassed a total of 1,980 points during the season to win the trophy, presented to him by Richard Hamilton, left.
Gary was leading the competition from early on and remained ahead of the chasing pack by making several good substitutions.
His final team was: Almunia, Vidic, Bosingwa, C Davies, O'Shea, Gerrard, T Cahill, Ireland, Van Persie, Bellamy and Torres.
Gary's other team, Shrimper 'A' also performed well, finishing in sixth place at the end of the season.
Luke Cain's team, Cain's Capello Concerto Cornetto finished second with 1,898 points and Tractor Girls United, managed by Louise Jessup, came third with 1,885 points.
